Clinical Exercise Physiology (CEP) faculty are actively engaged in the submission and procurement of external funding to assist with its research work; conducting, presenting and publishing research and scholarly works; and, disseminating research findings to the scientific and lay communities.
Kinesiology at MSU-Meridian Kress Building will have 5 state of the art laboratories, including 1 wet lab, 3 research labs and a teaching lab. Research will range from human performance research to applied human clinical research trials and translation of research finding to the public. This includes research in applied areas of physical activity and exercise in regards to obesity/weight loss, diabetes, supplements, exercise rehabilitation, nutrition, sports medicine and human performance in children through elderly adults.
Research to be conducted by CEP faculty and students will make a worldwide impact on improving quality of life.
